Bit of Background

You may have already had a glance through the ‘Our story’ page on the website which goes into much further detail about the origins of Dora Designs, so we will give you a brief version here. Dora Designs was set up in 1991 by Angela, following a trip to the States where she became fascinated by the home crafts market. From there, Dora Designs was born! It was only when Angela moved into the wholesale market that she realised just how unique the product range was.

Unique Door Stops

Our doorstops are completely unique, and you simply won’t find anything else like them. Each time the new season arrives, we are always working on the latest designs and trialing new fabrics to help bring these unique door stops to life. We always welcome ideas from our customers too, so if there is something you feel is missing from the website then please contact us. 

All of our doorstops are weighted so will hold and will hold any heavy door open, but what makes them special is the unique designs. We really bring the animal characters to life within the designs, so each doorstop will bring a little something special to your home. Whether it is the cute black ribbon collar on the Bella Black Labrador Doorstop or the lifelike adorable face that Fergus the Highland Cow Doorstop has, they are all special in their own way.

Unique Draught Excluders

Our draught excluders are pretty special too. Not only do they serve a real function and prevent those cold draughts of air from racking up your heating bills, they also just look so adorable.
