Trade Show & New Products
If you are an avid follower of our social media channels, then you may well have seen that we have been busy bees exhibiting at the Spring Fair 2022. The Spring Fair is the UK’s number 1 home & gift show for the retail industry, and took place at the NEC in Birmingham. It is one of our favourite trade shows to exhibit at because it brings together an amazing collection of retailers from all over the country.
New In Products
We like to release new products every year at the Spring Fair as it means shoppers are able to see first-hand what they look like. Whilst we do our best with product photography, there is nothing better than seeing one of our stunning doorstops in the flesh, character and all! So let’s have a quick run through some of the new faces that we have added to the Dora collection:
1. Teddy The Yorkshire Terrier Doorstop
Yorkshire terriers are always known for their cheeky ways, and Teddy is no exception! She loves to cause mayhem in the home, but her affectionate personality shines through. A lovely addition to the Canine Collection, this Teddy doorstop features a stunning array of colours to add a bit of style to your home.
Brandon Beaver is just the most adorable doorstop (and don’t tell the others but he is quickly becoming our favourite). He was the standout best-seller at the trade show, and you can really see why. He has been added to the growing Country Folk range of doorstops where he will be happy sitting among other members of the Great British wildlife. With the recent reintroduction of beavers in parts of England, Scotland and Wales, we thought it was fitting to add Brandon to the product range at Dora.
You only have to go on a quick walk around our local village of Stamford to see just how popular Cockapoos are becoming as pets. So we only thought it was right to launch this adorable Bentley Cockapoo doorstop. With his perky tail and floppy ears, both distinguishable features of a Cockapoo, Bentley has just the cutest, adoring eyes. Designed with a combination of herringbone fabric and felt, Bentley is a classy addition to any home.
Gertrude was another popular hit at the Spring Fair, and you can see why when you have a look at her. Pink in colour (of course), Gertrude is guaranteed to brighten up any home and make you chuckle with her cheeky glare and soft curly tail. She is a little on the ‘extra heavy’ side and weighs a substantial 2.2kg so is perfect for keeping those slightly heavier doors open. That is just between us though, she may get offended otherwise!
For all those cat lovers out there, this one is for you. Introducing the Americano Apricot Cat. With her cream paws, nose and tummy she is more of an ‘americano with a dash of milk’, but nonetheless she is a stunning addition to any home. Joining the other cats in the Pedigree Cat Collection, the American Apricot cat will stylishly keep any door propped open.
